Last night's college draft placed sixty-four players on MLL team. Mike Manley, Duke University red shirt defenseman, was the third pick, overall and was taken by Rochester. Of the other eight Section Five players, looking for a spot, only Kevin Randall (Notre Dame) was selected (by Charlotte). The defenseman form Penfield was the first pick of the seventh round (#49).

The Top pick in the draft was by Long Island, who selected Cornell attackman Rob Pannell. Ohio chose the second pick, Virginia attackman Steele Stanwick.

The MLL season start on April 28th.
