Irondequoit midfielder Jake Sampson recently announced his commitment to study and play lacrosse at Hobart College after his graduation in 2018.

With limited time in his freshman year, Jake will enter his sophomore year with 3g-2a.

In the off-season he has played for the Sweetlax Lacrosse Program. Last summer he played in the Sweetlax Invitational, Uncommitted Showcase and All-Star games. He also played in the Liberty Bell, Big 4 and the Maryland Young Guns Tournaments.

Before making his decision, he considered Binghamton, Rutgers, Bucknell, Siena and Providence.
