Midlakes Scores Final Four to Win
Midlakes scored the final four goals and held Waterloo scoreless for the final 27 minutes in their 7-5 win over the Indians. The Screaming Eagles increased their record to 3-0 with their closest game of the season so far.
Waterloo played a strong first half and were leading 5-3 going into halftime. All five goals for the Indians were scored unassisted with Adam Jensen adding two and four other athletes adding a single goal each. In the cage, Garrett Gaydosh finished at 61% with 11 recorded saves. Faceoff midfielder Nick Costantino joined Jensen with 6 groundballs each. Defenseman Derek Excell recorded 2 takes and five groundalls. For Midlakes, Ryan Macdonnell finished with 3g-1a to lead his team. Between the pipes, Zach Davison recorded seven saves (58%).
