In a closely contested non-league lacrosse game, McQuaid Jesuit claimed a narrow victory over Corning, 8-7, on Saturday, March 29. The teams battled neck-and-neck throughout, with five ties punctuating the game, including the final quarter where McQuaid sealed the win with JP Gianforti’s third goal of the night. Gianforti led McQuaid Jesuit with 3 goals, supported by Dominic Bianchi (2 goals), and first-time varsity scorers Talin Parks and AJ Quagrello adding a goal apiece. John Burrows contributed with three assists, and goalie Jack Rawleigh delivered a solid performance with 14 saves and a 67% save rate.
