Pittsford sophomore midfielder, John Galbraith has announced his commitment to study and play lacrosse at Colgate University after his graduation in 2017.

After scoring three goals in his freshman year on the Panther Varsity, Galbraith has a busy summer, playing with the SweetLax Lacrosse club in the Adrenaline Platinum Cup, the Big4, the Crabfest and SweetLax Invitational tournaments. He also played in the Maverick Showtime where he was named to the All Star Team.

Before selecting Colgate, Galbraith considered Bucknell, Hobart, Holy Cross and Boston College.

Colgate is an NCAA Division I team playing in the Patriot League. Last year the Raiders finished their season at 9-7 under Head Coach Mike Murphy.
