Gates Chili senior midfielder Austin Castre recently announced his decision to study and play lacrosse for Limestone College, the 2014 NCAA D-II Champions.

In his first year on the Varsity squad, Austin added 9g-3a, scoring points in nine games for the Spartans. He added forty-one ground balls and recorded five takes in 2014 and earned an Honorable Mention on the MC-d3 list.

Limestone College (Gaffney, South Carolina) finished their twenty-fifth season last year with a record of 19-1 and their third NCAA D-II National Championship. Players on the 2014 team from Section Five included goalie Pat Sheridan (McQuaid) and defenseman Anthony Starnino (Aquinas). The Head Coach is B. J Clarke.
