East Rochester 2009 - East Rochester finished their inaugural season with a 0-12 league record (0-14 overall). They finished as seeded after a 7-11 loss to Midlakes in the first round. The Bombers only had three seniors last season and look to return most of their roster for their second season.

Coach Mike Domm writes, "With only two seniors on the team this year we are going to rely on our young talent for our success." Nick Reiss and David Farchione are the only two returning seniors from last year's class of seven. Nick Reiss led in goals and points last season with 19g-9a and will look to be a team leader this season. Leading assister, sophomore Jordan Michele (10g-15a) is also back. Freshman Ray Shalvoy looks to make significant contributions this season for his second year on varsity.

Farchione will return to lead the close defense this year. Coach Domm writes, "[Farchione] is a very important part of our zone defense." Goalie Hayden Walsh is gone from the roster, opening up the spot between the pipes. Sophomore Liridon Dervisholli played seven games last season and finished with 47 saves for the Bombers.

With Division III only requiring twelve league games, four out of league contests can be scheduled. Coach Domm has set up contests against Bishop Kearney, Haverling and two games against Pal-Mac. The Bombers look ready to get their first win of their varsity program in 2010.
