League Awards Announced for 2010

The league awards have finally been released and 316 awards have been given to the players in Section Five so far this year. (The AGR list will come out within a month). 65 Finger Lakes players received 69 awards, 23 GRALL players received 31 awards and Penn Yan, who is independent had 4 players receiving All Tournament awards. In the Monroe County League 69 players in Division I received 82 awards, 71 players in Division II received 84 awards and 46 players in Division III each received an award.

The All Star list is out recognizing the Finger Lakes League players for the 2010 season .Senior midfielder Tyler Brooks-Lambert (Midlakes) and senior defenseman Mike Warner (Geneva) were selected as USLacrosse All Americans. Senior, Ryan Kommer from Newark was selected by the Finger Lakes coaches as the 2010 USLacrosse Academic All American.

The All Star list is out recognizing the Monroe County League players for the 2010 season. Senior attackmen Brendan Saylor (Fairport) and Jack Hinderland (Thomas), senior goalie Nick King (Canandaigua) and Joe Dupra (Pittsford) were selected as USLAcrosse All Americans. Senior midfielder Gannon Osborn (Canandaigua) and senior LSM James Cunningham (Fairport) were selected by the Monroe County coaches as the 2010 USLacrosse Academic All American.

The Division I player of the Year is Brendan Saylor. The Division II Player of the Year is Jack Hinderland and the Division III Player of the Year is CJ Wool (Brighton). See the full list for D-1  -  D-2  -  D-3.

 

GRALL

The All Star list is out recognizing the GRALL players for the 2010 season. Senior midfielder, Jeff Wester from Livonia was selected as GRALL "Player of the Year" and GRALL "All American". The GRALL coaches selected senior attackman Mike Crawford from McQuaid Jesuit as the 2010 GRALL Academic All American and the Sportsmanship award went to Haverling. See the full list here.
