State poll number eight is out today and the eight Section Five teams remains on the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Fairport drops from #2 to #5 and Thomas remain in #8. Pittsford remains on the Honorable Mention list in Class A.

In Class B, Canandaigua moves from #5 to #4 and Irondequoit moves from #4 to #7 while Brighton remains on the Honorable Mention list.

In Class C, Penn Yan remains in #5 and Aquinas remains in #8.

The top spots in week seven go to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Niskayuna (Section 2) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
