NYS Poll - Week 7
(May 24, 2007) - The State poll is out today and twelve Section Five teams made the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association. Irondequoit tops the Section Five Class A teams again, remaining in #9. Other Class A teams include Canandaigua (#12) and Schroeder (#13). Churchville-Chili, Fairport, Penfield and Webster Thomas made the honorable mention list. In Class B, Geneva remains at #10 and Eastridge and McQuaid Jesuit receive an honorable mention. In Class C, Penn Yan moved down to the 9th spot (from #6) and Livonia takes an honorable mention. The top spots in week three went to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Huntington (Section 11) in Class B and Cold Springs Harbor (Section 8) in Class C.
