Harvest Club Celebrates Five Commitments

The Harvest Lacrosse Club is celebrating five more college commitments as the 2018 scholastic season begins.

Harvest ClubPittsford senior defenseman Shane Gaffney, will be moving on to SUNY Geneseo next fall. A defensive threat last year, he will start his senior year with twenty-five ground balls and twelve take-aways. 

Churchville-Chili senior, Ryan Terhaar, has announced his decision to study and play at Mercyhurst University next fall. A two-year Varsity player for the Saints, the long-stick midfielder and part-time face off man recorded fifty-two ground balls and fourteen takes, while adding two goals last year. He received second team All-League honors (MC-d2) last year and an honorable mention as a sophomore.

Junior attackman Eli Chalmers announced his decision to move on to SUNY Stony Brook after his graduation from Aquinas in 2019. In his first two years on the Varsity he has recorded thirty-nine goals and fourteen assists. Last season he was named to the Class C All Tournament team and to the first team All-GRALL list.

Irondequoit Junior long-pole Joey Register has made his commitment to Canisius College after his graduation in 2019. 

Hilton senior defenseman Tyler Carpenter will stay close to home when he moves on to Roberts Wesleyan next fall. A strong take-away man, Tyler ended last year with thirty take-aways and thirty-five ground balls.
