DAY IN REVIEW: Batavia saw the "fruit of their hard work" with their first win of the season as they defeated Avon. Alex Snell and Joe Allegue each turned in 6g-1a in the contest and Dustin Veitch and Tyler Kuhn combined for 17 saves.

Thomas and Hilton played a close game in the first half with three lead changes. Thomas picked up the pace in the third quarter as Nick Mabe(5g-1a) and Mat Hill (3g-1a) led the offense. Matt Yonko recorded 11 saves (57%) for the Titans.
