Bush Leads Gananda to Win

Henry Bush finished with 3g for Gananda in their 12-9 win over Midlakes.  The Blue Panthers scored the first goal and led throughout with only a single tie in the third quarter.  Gananda has defeated Midlakes all 10 times that the teams have face.  This year's 3 goals differential was the closest in history.

Overall, the Blue Panthers had nine players make their offensive scorebook with eight different players scoring at least one goal.  Gananda scored the first three goals with Evan Smith scoring the opener unassited.  Bush added the second and third goals (also unassisted).  Midlakes fought to keep the score close and kept the game within three goals for nearly the entire contest.

Midfielder Patrick Shanley finished with six groundballs to lead Gananda.  John Weise (5), Brett Cunningham (5) Shayne O'Connor and Evan Smith (4) also added to the tally.  Defenseman Jake Gales recorded five takes.  In the cage for Gananda, Jason Good recorded 14 saves.  For the Screaming Eagles, Zach Davison recorded 10 saves.
