With three minutes remaining in regulation, JD led by three 9-6 and were looking strong to keep up their undefeated season. Fairport scored three goals in the final 2:37 to send the game into overtime. Peers scored both the game tying goal as well as the overtime goal.
Kemmis and Davis paired up again to open the second and give JD a 3-1 lead. Fairport responded with two of their own to tie the game for the second time. Klay Stuver and Ingalls scored for the Red Raiders. Not to be outdone, JD took the lead again with back to back goals. Connor Durkin and Burns scored for the Rams. The first half ended with the third tie of the game. Peers and Ingalls scored. Ingalls goal was scored with 0:35 remaining in the half.
