In a game that see-sawed back and forth, Thomas scored the winning goal in overtime to defeat Pittsford 12-11. On the other end of town Penfield defeated Schroeder by a goal in the last minute of the game.

The Greece Thunder was a one goal winner over Brockport in the closest game of the day. Irondequoit had a 13-7 win over Penfield and Wayne took Waterloo.

After a 6-4 half, Wayne and Pal-Mac traded goals in the second half and the Eagle took a 7-5 win aft home. Other winners on Friday night were Mynderse, Gananda and Geneva.

The greatly anticipated contest between Victor and Pittsford was resolved, at least at this point, tonight when Victor overcame a 4-2 halftime deficit and scored seven goals in the second half to beat the Panthers 9-6.

Gananda used their game as a benefit to help support their former Head Coach Mike Pane in his battle against brain cancer. Aquinas continued their winning ways in a 5-3 win over Canisius and Waterloo won a non-league game against Batavia.

Fourteen of the fifteen games played today were mismatches of various magnitudes. The most exciting game of the day was the overtime win by Spencerport over Brockport.

Thirteen games were played today with a number of games in the "must watch" group. Victor took visiting Fairport 17-7 and Pittsford took Irondequoit 19-5.

Irondequoit has a 15-9 win over visiting Ithaca while Livonia used a last minute flurry to take Rush-Henrietta in overtime. Waterloo and Midlakes played a close game, but the Indians held on to their one goal lead for the win.

One of the first beautiful spring days saw thirteen games played in the sunlight. Pal-Mac overcame a three goal deficit to defeat Geneva in overtime.

There were twelve games played on Thursday, and once again, many were mismatches.

Brighton`s Brady McDermott scored with 0:59 remaining in regulation to secure a 14-13 win over Webster Thomas. Aquinas used two overtime periods to secure their win from Canisius as all but one team in the section played games today.

The 2013 Section Five Tournaments began today with Claus C out-bracket games for eight teams.

It took overtime, but Pittsford beat Victor in a closely contested game 12-11. Marcus Whitman beat Mynderse by one, 6-5. Canandaigua beat R-H 16-11 and Midlakes beat B-H, 10-6.

Although the game was close for the first half, Geneva scored seven unanswered goals to start the third quarter in their 12-5 win over Waterloo. The game was 5-4 going into halftime but then the Panthers held the Indians scoreless for over twenty minutes. 

Wayne scored the first four goals of the contest and never trailed in their 11-8 win over Waterloo. The Screaming Eagles led by as much as seven (10-3) before Waterloo scored five of the last six goals. 

In a game of scoring runs, Gananda held off the advances of Waterloo to secure a 10-9 win over the Indians. Although the game was only tied once (5-5) and the Blue Panthers never trailed, it was close to the buzzer with Waterloo scoring with 0:29 remaining to pull within a single goal.

Waterloo won their second back to back one goal game of the season with a 7-6 overtime victory over Bloomfield-Honeoye. Last week the Indians defeated Midlakes 7-6. Waterloo was led in scoring by Kyle Lotz with 1g-2a and Adam Jensen with 3g-1a. The Pride was led by Jon Marble with 3g.
