Penn Yan scored their winning goal in the last quater as they defeated Westhill (Section 3) 5-4. Senior midfielder Austin Blumbergs led the Mustangs with four goals and sophomore goalie Jeff Kinyon made twelve saves (75%). Thomas used a goal in the last five minutes of the game to defeat Fairport 11-10 and Patrick Shanley scored an unassisted goal in the second overtime period to give Gananda the 9-8 win at Geneva. |
# 1352 Thomas Holds off IQ to Remain Undefeated In a game that was dictated by halves, Thomas played a dominating first half to defeat Irondequoit 10-7. The Titans led 8-1 late in the second quarter and although the Eagles attempted to fight back, the deficit was too large. They never got the score closer than two goals. The Titans remain undefeated at 4-0 with their closest matchup of the season. |

Senior goalie Jake Santini had an impressive fourteen save day (78%) in the cage for the Red Raiders who saw TJ Hendricks lead the offense with 3g-1a. Senior Nick Miller scored all four goals for Ithaca. |

Over the first three quarters the score was never more than 2 goals apart with the game tied seven times. However, Thomas scored four unanswered goals to start the final quarter and take the largest lead of the game 13-9. The Red Raiders could not come back and only added a single goal in the fourth. |
