# 1363 Gananda Wins in Double Overtime Patrick Shanley scored the game winning overtime in the second overtime period to earn Gananda the 9-8 win over Geneva. The Blue Panthers won their second one goal game in a row to remain undefeated at 6-0. The Panthers fought back to force a tie with the last three goals of the game but they could not retake the lead in the final four minutes. |
# 1285 All Greater Rochester 2017 The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle announced their 2017 All-Greater Rochester Lacrosse team today. The list features the top sixteen players and a number of honorable mentions were led by Canandaigua senior Attackman, Devin Andrews who was named "Player of the Year". Andrews, who was also a US Lacrosse All-American, scored 72 goals and 47 assists this year. The SportsFive Offensive Player of the Year plans to study and play at Stony Brook next year. |
