# 3379 A Full Day of Lacrosse at HFL Tonight’s 12-5 win for HFL over Livonia-Avon capped a long day of Lacrosse at HFL High School Field. There were multiple contests across all levels of boy’s and girl’s lacrosse raising awareness and donations for “Cancer Day”. In addition to today’s boy’s game, the girls defeated Horseheads 16-6 (HERE). Today’s contest was a vastly different game from the contest just last week between the same two teams. After a back-and-forth contest last Saturday, today’s match was much more one-sided. The Cougars took long stretches of possession and gave the Lakers very little time on offense. The Lakers attempted to use what opportunities they could get; however, it was not enough. There were standout performances from Livonia goalie Matt Beachel with 7 saves in the first quarter (10 total for the game), HFL attackman Chase Perryman with 4g-2a, and HFL face-off midfielder Drew Angelo. |
