Gone are offensive leader Max Ettinghausen (28g-17a- Tufts) who with goalie Connor Winters (130s - 62%) were named Academic All-Americans. Also gone are midfielder Mike Hazard (23g-8a) and Cam Hocker (15g-3a). The Knights were 7-6 after a disappointing 11-10 overtime loss to Pittsford in the semifinals. |

Meanwhile, in Canandaigua defense was the name of the game as the Braves defeated McQuaid Jesuit 4-1. The other seven games were mismatches in which the winners outscore their opponents 105-24. |
# 3055 McQuaid With Three Strong Returners Quite a number of coaches feel that McQuaid Jesuit will be a top contender among Class A teams this year which makes sense with three players who made first-team All-League honors as sophomores returning for their senior year. In the attack is Max Ettinghausen is a four-year starter who scored 28g-24a in 2019 and 23g-13a as a freshman. He is a "fast, smart and tough player with excellent stick skills and is a strong leader" according to Coach Corcoran. He will continue playing lacrosse next year at Tufts. |
