Churchville-Chili ended their league season second in Monroe County Division II with a 8-2 record (10-6 overall). Seeded tenth in the Class A tournament the Saints lost to Fairport in the first round and finished as seeded. With the new league divisional orientation, the Saints have much more competition in Division II this season, however, they are still focused on their goal of winning the division.

There were six games games on Tuesday. Brighton, who did not win a game in 2008, is now 2-0 after their 9-5 win over visiting Eastridge. Marcus Whitman, playing their first Varsity game in school history, was leading 6-2 before the Greece Lightning came back and won 8-6.
