DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Saturday featured a string of career milestones: Haverling's McLane Stermole recorded his 800th career save in a loss to LAG, where Owen Schweitzer posted eight goals and Will Schweitzer reached 50 career goals; HF-L's Jackson Coon also hit 50 goals in a 7-4 win over Hamburg; and Bloomfield-Honeoye's Brayden Arber reached the same mark in a 13-10 loss to Sweet Home. Pittsford stayed unbeaten at 9-0 with a 14-8 win at Marcellus behind four goals from Avery Valenti, Canandaigua rallied with three fourth-quarter goals to edge Fairport 8-7, and McQuaid's John Burrows posted five goals in a 12-11 win over Fayetteville-Manlius. Rush-Henrietta's Zachary Winner also reached 50 career goals in a 16-6 win over Aquinas, while Penn Yan's Miles Ditzell led all scorers on the day with five goals in a 16-5 win over Ithaca.

HAMBURG-4 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-7 - Honeoye Falls-Lima picked up a 7-4 non-league win over Hamburg on Saturday morning at home, scoring four goals in the third quarter to break open a 2-3 halftime deficit. The win gives HF-L a 3-3 all-time edge in a series that has been dead even since 2006.

For Honeoye Falls-Lima (5-1), senior Jackson Coon reached 50 career varsity goals with two goals and three assists, pushing his total to 51. Junior Austin Schor added two goals, while senior Marco Vengoechea, senior Jayden Hillegeer, and Tanner Olin each chipped in one goal. For Hilton (7-1), senior Cahlan Smith and junior Tyler Reger each led with three goals, with Smith adding two assists. Junior Kyle Taddeo chipped in two goals, and sophomore Drew Brien and junior Gianluca Auriuso each added one goal. Sophomore Lucas Grizzanti went 10-for-16 at the faceoff dot (63%). The game featured two individual milestones: senior Isaac Bailey surpassed 300 career faceoff wins, finishing nine-for-11 (82%) to reach 302, and senior Larry Copeland set a school record with 10 caused turnovers in a single game.

For Churchville-Chili (2-4), senior Jack Sloan led with four goals and one assist, while senior Jaxon Leonard added two goals and four assists and Bailey contributed three goals and one assist. DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY -  Tuesday's boys lacrosse action featured big individual performances at both ends of the state. Aquinas freshman Parker Wegman posted seven goals in a 16-3 win at Newark, while Pittsford's Avery Valenti added six goals and two assists in a 20-10 win over Irondequoit that handed the Eagles their first loss of the season. In a pair of road games against out-of-section opponents, Penfield fell 13-5 at Garden City despite 18 saves from Mason Schembri, and Victor dropped a 9-8 decision at St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida despite two goals and three assists from Jackson Mead, with St. Thomas Aquinas scoring the go-ahead goal with just over 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Thomas also picked up a 16-10 win at Baldwinsville, though no statistics were available at post-time. 

PITTSFORD-20 at IRONDEQUOIT-10 - Pittsford handed Irondequoit its first loss of the season Tuesday afternoon, winning 20-10 in a non-league game at Irondequoit. The Panthers jumped out to a 13-6 halftime lead and pulled away with six more goals in the third quarter. Nine different players scored goals for Pittsford.

For Pittsford (3-0), senior midfielder Avery Valenti led the way with six goals and two assists, while junior Grant Lewis added four goals and three assists and Max Morgenstern chipped in three goals. Trevor Nally contributed two goals and two assists, and Cole Goetz added one goal and three assists. Sophomore Luke Jutzin scored his first varsity goal and senior Doug Blalock recorded his first varsity assist. For Irondequoit (2-1), sophomore Kieran Stenzel led with four goals, while senior Cooper Moore added three goals and one assist and senior Colin Giudice contributed two goals. For Aquinas (1-1), freshman attackman Parker Wegman led with seven goals and one assist, while senior Jack Bell contributed four assists and senior midfielder Cam Stewart added one goal and two assists. Connor Williams chipped in two goals and one assist, and Kellan Campe added two goals.
