Jackson`s 5 Goals Lead R-H Past Aquinas

AQUINAS-6 at RUSH-HENRIETTA-16 - Rush-Henrietta picked up a 16-6 non-league win over Aquinas on Saturday afternoon at home, scoring three goals in the first quarter and building from there. Eight different players scored for the Royal Comets, who improve to 3-5 on the season.

For Rush-Henrietta (3-5), senior Preston Jackson led with five goals, while sophomore Myles Weaver added four goals and three assists. Junior Brayden Towner contributed two goals and one assist, and sophomore Zachary Winner added one goal, reaching 50 career varsity goals in the process. Luke Lippincott, Ronin Walker, Anthony Valenti, and Tyler Cleveland each chipped in one goal. Junior Dominic Hillin was perfect in goal for 12 minutes.

For Aquinas (4-4), freshman Kellan Campe and senior Caleb Wood each led with two goals, while senior Jack Bell added one goal and two assists. Sophomore Bryce Miller went 17-for-26 at the faceoff dot (65%). Senior Jake Gibson stopped seven shots for a 54% save percentage in 22 minutes.
