DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - Once again, there were many mismatches, but there were also some really good games. In the game of the last two unbeaten teams, Canandaigua (9-0) was the last team standing but the Cougars had a strong second half at both ends of the field. Senior A/M Jett Richardsen scored the overtime, game-winning goal for the Royal Comets in this game that could not have been closer with eight ties. Greece took an early lead and held on for their one goal win.

Last night at St. John Fisher College the first annual Blake Cognata Memorial Lacrosse game was held. Pittsford Varsity girls played the Victor girls and the Pittsford boys played the Victor boys in a double header.

In 2013, Fairport senior Blake Cognata lost his battle with Ewing`s Sarcoma, a rare cancer. The Fairport High School football and lacrosse player died just before his eighteenth birthday, but the lacrosse communities have continued to commit themselves to insure that his memory will live on.
