HFL Wins 14-5, Moves to Sectional Final

HFL defeated Geneva 14-5, pulling away with seven unanswered goals. Quinn Kailbourne led the Cougars with six goals and two assists, while Cash Arena contributed four goals and one assist. Geneva’s top scorer was Ryland Dunham with three goals. Jason Bennett made 14 saves in goal for HFL. The Cougars advance to face Pal-Mac for the Class C Sectional Title.

Geneva Move On To Semifinals

Geneva earned a 21-7 victory over Newark in the Section 5 Quarterfinals, with seven players scoring goals. Ryland and Jack Dunham led with five goals each, and Geneva controlled faceoffs throughout the game. Brent Williams recorded a 63% save rate in goal. Newark's top scorer was Sam Underhill, who finished with four goals and one assist. Goalkeeper Carter Bumpus made 16 saves over 48 minutes. Jack Dunham also hit a career milestone with his 100th point.
