Haverling defeated Batavia-Notre Dame 16-5 in a non-league game today. Leading scorers for Haverling included Gavin Price, Zach Colegrove, and Warren McCormick, while Batavia-Notre Dame's fourth-quarter effort saw five players scoring, including three with their first Varsity goals. Junior goalie McLane Stermole was perfect in the net for Haverling, stopping all shots in thirty-six minutes. Both teams will play again on April 8th.
Brockport started their season strong with a twelve to zero win over Batavia-Notre Dame, led by Jaxon Ophardt's four goals and James Newton's perfect goalkeeping. Freshmen Ophardt, Nico Cenname, Wyatt Pentz, and Dylan Ryan each scored their first varsity goals, helping Brockport dominate in ground balls and extend their series lead to five wins.
