SPENCERPORT-10 at BRIGHTON-7  - Spencerport beat Brighton 10-7 Tuesday evening in a Monroe County D-2 game, moving to 7-5. The Rangers led 8-0 before Brighton scored seven of the final nine goals, but Spencerport held on. The game featured two career milestones: Brighton's Ben Marangola scored his 50th career goal and Spencerport's James Newtown reached 100 career saves. Spencerport's Gavin Brown also reached 100 career points.

Senior Zach Tortora led Spencerport with four goals, while sophomore Gavin Brown and Cole D'Amico each added two goals. Tyler Wentworth and Brody Kaye each scored one, with Patrick Keady distributing two assists. In goal, sophomore James Newtown made nine saves on 16 shots (56%) over 48 minutes.

For Brighton, sophomore Austin Flaum led with four goals, while Marangola added two goals and two assists. Tim Tourangeau scored one goal and Kiki Condon added two assists. In goal, senior Logan Serve made 10 saves on 20 shots (50%) over 48 minutes. Brighton falls to 9-3.

Spencerport hosts Lake Shore on Saturday and Brighton travels to Irondequoit.
