Dunhams Combine for Ten Points

GENEVA-16 at BLOOMFIELD-HONEOYE-7  - Geneva beat Bloomfield-Honeoye 16-7 Tuesday evening in a non-league game, moving to 10-2. The Panthers scored six of the first seven goals before Geneva took control, outscoring Bloomfield 16-1 over the final three quarters. The game featured three career milestones: Geneva's Gianni Velazquez scored his first career varsity goal, and both goalies hit save milestones. Bloomfield-Honeoye's Ashton Breeze reached 100 career saves and Geneva's Owen Marquart also reached 100 career saves.

Senior Ryland Dunham led Geneva with four goals and an assist, while Jack Dunham added two goals and three assists. Jacob D'Amico contributed two goals and two assists, Ben Budgar scored two goals and added an assist, and Dominic Gaglianese chipped in two goals and an assist. Velazquez, Owen Devaney, Liam Kivimaki and Kyler Russ each scored one goal. Seventh grader Nick Mateo Jr. went 17 for 26 on faceoffs and added an assist. In goal, Owen Marquart made seven saves on 14 shots (50%) over 48 minutes.

For Bloomfield-Honeoye, Brayden Arber led with five goals and Caleb Beadnell added one goal and one assist. Brennan Thomas scored the other goal, and Braiden Schneider contributed an assist. In goal, sophomore Ashton Breeze made 19 saves on 35 shots (54%) over 48 minutes. Bloomfield-Honeoye falls to 6-5.

Geneva hosts Auburn on Thursday and Bloomfield-Honeoye hosts Tonawanda on Saturday.
