MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-4 at GENEVA-12  - Geneva beat Mynderse-Romulus 12-4 Saturday morning in a non-league game, moving to 9-2. Seventh grader Nick Mateo Jr. reached 100 career faceoff wins, finishing 14 for 19. Senior Gianni Velazquez recorded his first career varsity assist, and Mynderse-Romulus junior Jojo Nigro scored his first career varsity goal.

Junior Jacob D'Amico led Geneva with four goals, while senior Ryland Dunham added three goals and two assists. Eighth grader Dominic Gaglianese chipped in three goals and an assist, and junior Jack Dunham contributed two goals and two assists. Senior Ben Budgar added two assists. In goal, junior Owen Marquart made five saves on nine shots (56%) over 48 minutes.

For Mynderse-Romulus, Owen Levis, Tyne VanEvery, Jojo Nigro and Hunter Kurdziolek each scored one goal, with Levis adding an assist.

Geneva hosts Bloomfield-Honeoye on Tuesday while Mynderse-Romulus hosts Gananda.
