FAIRPORT-3 at SPENCERPORT-9  - Spencerport beat Fairport 9-3 Friday evening in a non-league game, moving to 6-5. The Rangers built the lead with a five-goal run that spanned the second and third quarters. Freshman Luke Kaye reached 100 career faceoff wins in the process, finishing five for 15 on the night.

Senior Zach Tortora led Spencerport with five goals and an assist, while sophomore Gavin Brown added two goals. Mason Endres and Patrick Keady each chipped in one goal and one assist. In goal, sophomore James Newtown made 15 saves on 18 shots (83%) over 48 minutes.

For Fairport, sophomore Marco Provenzano scored two goals and senior Ryan Priddy added one goal and one assist. Senior Corey Roeser went 10 for 11 on faceoffs. Fairport falls to 5-6.

Spencerport hosts Brighton on Tuesday evening, May 5th. Fairport travels to East United-Eastridge on Tuesday evening, May 5th.
