Coon Reaches 50 Goals as HF-L Edges Hamburg

HAMBURG-4 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-7 - Honeoye Falls-Lima picked up a 7-4 non-league win over Hamburg on Saturday morning at home, scoring four goals in the third quarter to break open a 2-3 halftime deficit. The win gives HF-L a 3-3 all-time edge in a series that has been dead even since 2006.

For Honeoye Falls-Lima (5-1), senior Jackson Coon reached 50 career varsity goals with two goals and three assists, pushing his total to 51. Junior Austin Schor added two goals, while senior Marco Vengoechea, senior Jayden Hillegeer, and Tanner Olin each chipped in one goal. Sophomore Benny Feinberg went eight-for-15 at the faceoff dot (53%). Junior Jason Bennett stopped 14 shots for a 78% save percentage in 48 minutes.
