CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-1 at PAL-MAC-13 in a Non-League game: Pal-Mac opened its season with a 13-1 non-league win over Churchville-Chili on March 21, led by Max Hill (4g-3a), Jackson Dennie (4g-1a), Brandon Dennie (1g-3a), Reid Diehl (2g-2a), and Branden Thomas (2g), with sophomore Joey Hagen earning his first varsity assist; junior goalie Drew Ikewood stopped 11 of 12 shots (92%), while Churchville-Chili's only score came from Jack Sloan on an assist from Jaxson Leonard.      [ Story and BOX SCORE] 

SPENCERPORT-18 at GRAND ISLAND-4 in a Non-League game: Spencerport opened its season with an 18-4 non-league win at Grand Island, paced by Gavin Brown (5g-3a), Zach Tortora (4g), Tyler Wentworth (3g-1a), and Mason Endres (4a), with eighth grader Maddox Harding scoring his first varsity goal.
