Canandaigua secured a 17-11 victory over CBA in the Class B NYS Semifinal game at SUNY Cortland today. The opening quarter set the tone as Canandaigua built an 8-2 lead. Mike Belles led Canandaigua’s offense with 6 goals and 2 assists, while Ryan Bremer contributed 4 goals and an assist. Drew Williamee added 2 goals and 4 assists, and Jack Stanney recorded 3 goals. Patrick Olvany scored twice, and AJ Sterman provided an assist.

CBA responded with steady scoring throughout the game but was unable to close the gap. Jack Ludington led the team with 6 goals and an assist, while Ben Anderson finished with 3 goals and an assist. Jack Wichmann and Vincent Lazzaro each added a goal. In goal, Canandaigua’s Quentin Shedrick made 10 saves while allowing 11 goals over 48 minutes, and CBA’s Drew Britton recorded 16 saves while allowing 17 goals.
