These nail-biting matchups highlighted a day filled with intense competition across multiple games.

Despite the late push, Penfield’s defense held strong to seal the win. The Patriots now advance to the NYS Tournament to face Orchard Park. VICTOR-10 at CANANDAIGUA-11 - Canandaigua pulled off a dramatic fourth-quarter rally to dethrone two-time defending champion Victor, securing an 11-10 victory in the Sectional Finals. Despite trailing for most of the game, the Braves exploded with four unanswered goals in the final frame to take the lead, led by Senior Mike Belles (4g), who earned Class B All Tournament MVP honors. Ryan Bremer (3g-1a) and Drew Williamee (1g-1a) added key offensive contributions, while goalie Quentin Shedrick anchored the defense with eight saves. Victor’s Kyle Seager (4g) and Brody Secker (2g-2a) led their team’s effort, but a late push fell just short. With the win, Canandaigua returns to the State Tournament for the first time in four years and will face Lake Shore (Section VI) in their next matchup.
