Fairport edged out Penn Yan 12-8 in a closely contested battle, with Mitchell Monte leading the charge while Teagan Fingar reached a milestone with his 201st career goal. Meanwhile, McQuaid Jesuit made history with its first-ever victory over Thomas, 12-9, propelled by standout performances from John Burrows and Domenic Giangreco, who dominated faceoffs. Elsewhere, Newark's Sam Underhill exploded for nine goals in a commanding 21-9 win over Haverling, and Wayne overcame an early deficit to top Bloomfield-Honeoye 19-9 behind Mason Michel’s six-goal performance. Geneva cruised past Waterloo 16-1, while Penfield spread the scoring in an 18-7 win over Churchville-Chili, completing a day of decisive victories across divisions.
FAIRPORT-12 at PENN YAN-8 - Fairport won 12-8 against Penn Yan in a non-league game, earning the second seed in the Class A tournament. Mitchell Monte led Fairport with four goals and one assist, while Penn Yan’s Teagan Fingar scored twice, reaching 201 career goals. Both teams had strong contributions from multiple players. HAVERLING-9 at NEWARK-21- Newark took a 21-9 win over Haverling in a non-league game, led by senior Sam Underhill with nine goals and two assists. Sophomore Evan Shulla scored seven goals, reaching his 50th career goal. Senior goalie Carter Bumpus finished with ten saves on 19 shots for a 53% save rate. CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-7 at PENFIELD-18 - Penfield won 18-7 against Churchville-Chili, with nine players contributing to the scoring effort.
