The visiting team started strong, leading 2-0 after the first quarter and maintaining control with a 4-3 advantage by halftime. The third quarter saw Fairport extend its lead further, with Penn Yan pushing back in the final frame but unable to close the gap. Senior midfielder Teagan Fingar reached a career milestone, scoring two goals to bring his total to 201. Other scorers for Penn Yan included Braden Fingar (two goals), Mike Gigliotti (two goals, one assist), Tukker Fisher (one goal), and Greyson Hathway (one goal). In goal, Will Thompson recorded nine saves on 12 shots in 48 minutes.
