Geneva Earns Victory Over Newark

Geneva took control early in their matchup against Newark, scoring six goals in each of the first three quarters before finishing with three in the final frame for a 21-6 win. Leading Geneva’s attack was Ryland Dunham, who posted eight goals and three assists. Max Heieck contributed three goals and six assists, while Jack Dunham added four goals and one assist. Max Delgado found the net three times, and Dominick Vedora and Liam Kivimaki rounded out the scoring. Brent Williams anchored Geneva in goal, making nine saves with a 64% save percentage across thirty-six minutes.

Newark kept pace in the first half with three goals in the opening quarter and two in the second but struggled offensively after the break. Sam Underhill recorded three goals and one assist, while Evan Shulla scored three times for Newark. Goalkeeper Carter Bumpus faced heavy pressure throughout the game, making eighteen saves. Geneva held a strong presence on face-offs with Alex Pesante winning twenty-four and losing five.
