DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - Four games were played today, with Spencerport edging out Fairport 7-6 in overtime in the night's closest contest. Jayden Mandarano’s clutch goal sealed the win after a late-game rally, while standout performances from Ajavananda and Monte kept the match competitive. Elsewhere, Canandaigua dominated Gates Chili 19-3 behind Ryan Bremer’s four-goal effort, Brighton bested Corning 17-7, and Hilton controlled the second half to secure a 14-5 victory over Aquinas. 

GATES CHILI-3 at CANANDAIGUA-19 - Canandaigua defeated Gates Chili 19-3, extending their undefeated season. Ryan Bremer led the scoring with four goals and two assists, and eleven players contributed to the offense. Gates Chili’s three goals came from Callaway Phommachanh, Joshua Yakowitz, and Michael Alley. Canandaigua’s faceoff team had a strong showing, led by Mason DePew at 89%. Goaltender Evan Scibelli recorded a 75% save rate in his time in net. AQUINAS-5 at HILTON-14 - Hilton defeated Aquinas 14-5 in a non-league game on Friday night. Hilton controlled the second half, with Braydon Pike leading the offense with four goals and Gianluca Auriuso contributing three. Aquinas saw scoring efforts from Olbrich and Guggino. Goalie Jake Gibson made 23 saves with a 62% save percentage. Hilton improved to 10-1, while Aquinas dropped to 3-5.   [ Story and BOX SCORE]  

FAIRPORT-6 at SPENCERPORT-7 in overtime - Spencerport secured a 7-6 overtime win against Fairport, with Jayden Mandarano scoring the deciding goal in a back-and-forth contest. Fairport built an early lead, but Spencerport surged in the fourth quarter to tie the game before taking the win.
