Pittsford continued its strong season with an 18-0 victory over Greece Storm in an MC-D1 league game at Arcadia. Ten different Pittsford players contributed goals, with attackman Ben Zombek leading the way with three goals and one assist. Cole Goetz recorded four goals and three assists, while Grant Lewis added two goals and three assists. On the other side, Greece Storm managed a handful of shots but could not find the back of the net.

Pittsford's defense held firm with goalies Pierce Madigan and Bear Wehrheim each playing 24 minutes and stopping two shots apiece for a 100% save rate. Greece Storm’s Mitchell Barnes finished with ten saves on 15 shots in 32 minutes, while Justin Fox recorded two saves on three shots in 16 minutes. Ground balls and face-off battles leaned in Pittsford’s favor, allowing them to control possession and create scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Pittsford remains undefeated at 5-0 this season and has maintained its perfect record against Greece Storm since 2019. The team will travel to Fayetteville-Manlius on Saturday, while Greece Storm looks to bounce back at home against Fairport on April 22nd.     [ Story and BOX SCORE]
