The Cadets took control early, scoring nine goals in the first quarter, and maintained their dominance throughout. Leading the scoring for Hilton was Gianluca Auriuso with four goals and one assist, and Drew Brien contributed three goals and one assist. Freshman goalie Brendan Maxwell was flawless with one save and no goals allowed in twelve minutes, while senior goalie Sam Guzzetta made five saves with one goal against, achieving an 83 percent save rate in thirty-six minutes. Hilton extended their perfect record against Greece Storm to 7-0 since 2018.

For Greece Storm, James Maccallini scored their lone goal in the third quarter. Despite efforts from players like Eric Odell, who won ten face-offs out of fifteen attempts (67 percent), and goalies Mitchell Barnes and Justin Fox, who combined for ten saves, Greece Storm was unable to narrow the gap. Hilton`s well-rounded performance also saw contributions from Nolan Tydings, Andrew Rudd, and Kyle Taddeo with key assists throughout the game.
