DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - There were seven games played today and three were close ones. Marcellus was a 10-9 winner over Hilton. McQuaid Jesuit defeated Corning by a score of 8-7. Orchard Park was a 14-12 winner over Penfield. 

BATAVIA-0 at BROCKPORT-12 in a Non-League game: Brockport started their season strong with a twelve to zero win over Batavia-Notre Dame, led by Jaxon Ophardt's four goals and James Newton's perfect goalkeeping. Freshmen Ophardt, Nico Cenname, Wyatt Pentz, and Dylan Ryan each scored their first varsity goals, helping Brockport dominate in ground balls and extend their series lead to five wins.   [Story Continues in BOX SCORE]  

GREECE STORM-9 at NEWARK-4 in a Non-League game: Greece Storm claimed a 9-4 win over Newark with James Maccallini leading the charge with five goals. Newark’s Sam Underhill scored all four of their goals. Goalie performances included Mitchell Barnes (78% save rate) for Greece Storm and Carter Bumpus (55%) for Newark. MCQUAID JESUIT-8 at CORNING-7 in a Non-League game: McQuaid Jesuit defeated Corning in a tight non-league matchup, 8-7. JP Gianforti led McQuaid with three goals, while goalie Jack Rawleigh posted a 67% save rate. Corning’s Tully Fratarcangelo contributed three goals in the effort. PENFIELD-12 at ORCHARD PARK-14 in a Non-League game: Orchard Park secured a 14-12 win over Penfield in a non-league lacrosse game. Penfield`s Brodie Joyce (two goals, three assists), Jake Maurer (two goals, one assist), and AJ Theodorakakos (two goals) led the offense.
