Canandaigua in a Close Win

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There was just one game played today. Canandaigua defeated Fairport by a score of 5-4. 

CANANDAIGUA-5 at FAIRPORT-4 - In a low-scoring tight contest that had three ties, the Gray Wolves (2-0) had three straight goals in the second and third quarters to come from behind and win with a goal by Braden Gioseffi on a pass from Drew Williamee. All five goals were scored by different players. Drew Williamee (1g-3a), junior attackman Mike Belles (1g-1a), and junior midfielder Ryan Bremer (1g) led the scoring. Facing off, Mason DePew had 6+/5- = 55% and in the goal senior Jaxson Tucker recorded 15s/4ga = 79% (48 mins). Scoring for Fairport (2-1) were senior midfielder Jack DuBose (1g-1a), senior offensiveman Sam Pucci (1a), senior attackman Michael Priddy (1g), junior attackman Andrew Crowley (1g), junior offensiveman Mitchell Monte (1a), senior defensive midfielder Patrick Nobes (1g), and sophomore attackman Ryan Priddy (1a). It was a first Varsity goal for Nobes. In the goal for Fairport was junior Luke Ryan with 12s/5ga = 71% (48 mins). He reached his 100th career save (now 111svs).
