Wednesday: Hilton Takes McQuaid
DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There were only two games today. Hilton won an 11-4 game from visiting McQuaid and Haverling beat Batavaia-Notre Dame 13-9.
MCQUAID JESUIT-4 at HILTON-11 - The Cadets scored three unanswered goals in the first quarter and led 7-1 at the half. Leading the scoring for Hilton (6-6) were Aiden Cawley (3g-1a), Chase Wilson (2g), Braydon Pike (2g), and Luke Schindler (2g). Faceoff specialistMichael Mitrano won 7+/3- = 70%, and Drew O`Buck won 8+/1- = 89%. In the goal for Hilton was senior Jason Mosher with 14s/4ga = 78% (48 mins) who recorded his 500th save (now 506).

HAVERLING-13 at BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME-9 - The Rams won their first game of the season with a six goal third quarter and a run of three goals in under two minutes. Leading the scoring for Haverling (1-7) were Gavin Price (6g-1a), Zach Colegrove (2g-2a), Connor Brundage (3g-1a), and Jacob Ingram (1g-1a). In the goal for Haverling was freshman McLane Stermole with 18s/9ga = 67% (48 mins).
Scoring for Batavia-Notre Dame (0-11) were Quintin Cummings (4g-2a), Cooper Hamilton (2g-1a), Isaiah Hill (2g-1a), and Gavynn Trippany (1g).It was the first Varsity goals for Hill and Trippany. Facing off for Batavia-Notre Dame was Ryan Hamilton with 14+/5- = 74% and and Jeremiah Childs with 6+/0- = 100%.
