DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Penn Yan and Livonia-Avon both won their games today.
HAVERLING-0 at PENN YAN-19 - In a serious mismatch, the Mustangs scored their first goal just eight seconds into the game and added eighteen more before the half. Ten different players scored goals including 8th grade midfielder Miles Ditzell who scored his first Varsity goal. Also scoring for Penn Yan (5-3) Teagan Fingar (4g-2a), Carter Earl (1g-3a), Bryant VanHousen (2g-2a), Braden Fingar (1g-3a), Caden Dixon (2g-2a), Frank Ochoa (4g), and 8th grade midfielder Mike Gigliotti (2g). Penn Yan sophomore goalie Will Thompson made 1s/0ga = 100% (30 mins), and freshman goalie Aiden Griffiths made 1s/0ga = 100% (18 mins). Penn Yan is at Carthage on Saturday.

LIVONIA-AVON-16 at BISHOP KEARNEY-7 - The first quarter was even with both teams scoring two goals, but the Lakers took off in the second quarter posting ten more to take a 12-3 lead at the halftime break. Things slowed down in the second as both teams scored one goal in the third and three goals in the last quarter. Leading the scoring for Livonia-Avon (5-2) were Jackson McEnerney (6g-3a), Max McEnerney (3g-2a), Christian Rumfola (2g-3a), and Chris Thompson (2g). In the goal for Livonia-Avon was sophomore Colton Rose with 9s/7ga = 56% (48 mins). There was no report from Bishop Kearney (1-3) at post-time. The teams will play again on May 9th.
