Friday - Thomas, Haverling, Midlakes Win
DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - Three games were played tonight. Thomas took an 8-5 win from Hamburg (Section VI), Midlakes-Red Jacket won their first game of the season and Haverling had an 18-6 win against Bishop Kearney in a GRALL game.
BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME 7 - MIDLAKES-RED JACKET 11 - The Eagles won their first game of the season after scoring four goals in the second and three more in the third and fourth quarters. There were two ties in the game. Leading the offense for Midlakes-Red Jacket were Garrett Cooper and Peter Mueller who both had 3g-2a. Hunter Black added 2g-2a and goalie Nate Jansen made 11s (61%) for the winners. The Blue Devils were led by Noah Burke with 2g-1a and Daniel Saeva with 1g-1a. Four other players had one goal each. Batavia-Notre Dame goalie Jaxson Tucker was credited with 24s (69%). [BOX SCORE]
BISHOP KEARNEY 6 - HAVERLING 18 - In a GRALL game Bishop Kearney scored the first two goals in the game, but the Rams came back with the next six goals on their way to their fourth win in a row. Jamie O`Neil led the scoring with 5g-6a, Brody Baldwin had 4g-1a and Brady Dickson added 3g-2a for Haverling (6-3). Ethan Narby recorded 11s (65%) for the Rams. THOMAS 8 - HAMBURG 5 - A 6-3 lead in the first half gave the Titans the win over Hamburg of Section VI. David Petz had 3g1a and Ethan Shappee had 2g-1a for Webster (6-3). Goaltender Owen Dalberth had 9s (64%) for the Titans. James Reif led the Bulldog offense with 2g-1a. Next up for Thomas is Pittsford on Tuesday. [BOX SCORE]
