Thursday - Fairport 6 - Penfield 4
DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - Most of the fourteen games played today were blowouts, but the Fairport 6-Penfield 4 game was a good one.
WAYNE 10 - GENEVA 4 -Nate Michel had 3g-2a an PJ Ostrowski added 3g-1a while Logan DuVall-Swartzenberg made 8s (67%) for Wayne (5-2). There was no report from Geneva at post time. [BOX SCORE]
PENFIELD 4 - FAIRPORT 6 - There were four lead changes in this exciting game at Penfield tonight. The Monte brothers (Jackson and Mitchell) broke the 4-4 tie with just over two minutes left in regulation. The goalie on both teams were demonstrative as Red Raider goalie McLean Ralston made 6s (60%) and Patriot goalie Seamus Hand had 14s (70%). [BOX SCORE]
BLOOMFIELD-HONEOYE 3 - WATERLOO 12 - Jordan Kraft (5g-1a) and Scott Verdehem (3g-4a) led the offense for the Blue Devils. [BOX SCORE]
IRONDEQUOIT 17 - EAST UNITED-EASTRIDGE 1 - Noah Gibson scored 3g-5a and Cooper Moore had 4g-2a for the Eagles (8-1). [BOX SCORE]
GATES CHILI 3 - CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 10 - Colin Duncan had 4g and Brett Seaman added 3g while goalkeeper Bradley Shaw made 6s (67%) for the Saints (5-3). Nathan Weise was credited with 20s (67%) for the Spartans. [BOX SCORE]
BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME 1 - LIVONIA-AVON 20 - Ten Lakers made the scorebook, led by Jackson McEnerney with 4g-3a and Justin Skelly with 4g-1a. Nicholas Grover scored for the Blue Devils. [BOX SCORE]
BROCKPORT 1 - HF-L 16 - Nine players scored points for the Cougars including David Brassie (2g-6a). [BOX SCORE]
SPENCERPORT 15 - BRIGHTON 8 - Six third quarter goals made a difference as the Rangers beat Brighton at home. Austin Mandarano had 5g-1a and Anthony Rodriguez had 5g. Justin Schnauber had 5a and Cam Mesh won 14 of 16 draws while picking up 12 gbs for Spencerport (5-2). Liam McGuire led the Bruins with 4g-2a. [BOX SCORE]
HILTON 3 - CANANDAIGUA 8 - Jaxon Grant led the Braves with 4g and Morgan Elliot added 3a. Jack Faiola made 7s (70%) for CA (8-2) who will play Corning on Saturday. Hilton will play the Saints on Saturday. [BOX SCORE]
PENN YAN 18 - GANANDA 3 - Penn Yan scored thirteen unanswered goals in the first half. Teagan Fingar scored 3g-4a and Frank Ochoa added 5g. The Mustangs (4-3) will play Newark on Saturday. THOMAS 15 - GREECE STORM 2 - Ten players made the offensive book for the Titans including Chase Gottstein (4g-1a). [BOX SCORE]
SCHROEDER 8 - PITTSFORD 13 - After a 4-4 halftime score, the Panthers scored six goals in the third for the win. Eight players made the offensive book for Pittsford (6-3) including Gustav Murphy with 5g and James Cook with 4g. Connor Wambach won 21 of 23 draws for the Panther who will play CBA on Saturday. Nick Hauman led the Warriors with 3g-1a. Schroeder will play Fairport next week. [BOX SCORE]
VICTOR 15 - RUSH-HENRIETTA 5 - Victor pulled many of the starters in the first quarter and eleven players scored points. Thomas Gravin scored 2g-3a, Sam Gotham scored 2g-2a and Pax Marshall had 4g for the Blue Devils (9-0) who will play Baldwinsville on Saturday. Cody Coleman had 2g and Jack Nothnagle had 1g-1a for the Royal Comets who play Penfield next week. [BOX SCORE]
MARCUS WHITMAN 15 - NEWARK 5 - Kyle Murphy scored 4g-2, Connor Tomion scored 2g-4a and Rylan Weissinger scored 2g-3a for the Wildcats. Goalkeeper Blake Dunton made 10s (67%) for Marcus Whitman (5-3). Preston Steve scored 2g for Newark and Caleb George-Cady was credited with 17s (53%) for the Reds (5-2). [BOX SCORE]
