Saturday - Pal-Mac over Brighton in OT

DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - It was an overtime win for Pal-Mac as face off specialist Quinn Nolan won 18 of 21 draws, scored the game winning goal and led the team with 3g-1a. Irondequoit held on for their 9-8 win over Visiting Schroeder.

Schroeder at IrondequoitPAL-MAC 9 - BRIGHTON 8  - Quinn Nolan (3g-1a) scored the overtime game winner for Pal-Mac as they beat visiting Brighton. The game was tied three times and ran in streaks, as the Red Raiders scored four goals in the second, taking a 6-2 lead. Brighton returned with six unanswered goals spanning the last three quarters taking an 8-6 lead. Starting at 2:44, Pal Mac scored two goals to force the overtime. Logan Babcock and Mike Halsey both had three points and goalie Will Nichols made 11s (58%) for Pal-Mac. Senior midfielder Cal Oberst has 2g-4a to lead the Bruins offense.  [BOX SCORE]  

IRONDEQUOIT 9 - SCHROEDER 8  - In a game that saw multiple ties, Irondequoit first quarter 3 goals proved to be the difference as they defeated visiting Schroeder. Senior midfielder Nick Hauman led the Warrior effort with 3g-1a. There was no report from Irondequoit at post time.    [BOX SCORE]  

VICTOR 11 - NISKAYUNA 5  - Jack Herendee racked up 1g-4a to lead the Blue Devils in their victory over Niskayuna (Section II). Sam Ricci won 14 of 20 draws for Victor who will play Jamesville-DeWitt on Thursday. There was no stats available for Niskayuna at post time.    [BOX SCORE]  

CANANDAIGUA 8 - PENN YAN 0  - Drew Williamee (1g-2a) led the list of eight players that made the offensive book for Canandaigua. Luke McCrobie won all 12 of his faceoffs. Penn Yan goalie Griffin Emerson had 15s (65%).    [BOX SCORE]
