Two Sunday Games

Sunday: DAY IN REVIEW: There were two unusual Sunday games played in the first week of the 2021 season. Canandaigua travelled to Geneva where the Braves scored six goals in the first quarter on their way to a 12-3 victory over the Panthers. Nine different Canandaigua players made the offensive book with no one scoring more than three points. Sophomore face off midfielder, Luke McCrobie won 15/15 faceoffs and Jack Faiola (2s/2ga) and Zach Dreisbach (2s/1ga) split the time in the goal. Aiden Eighmey had 1g-1a and Nate Askin had 2a for Geneva and Garrett Kayser made 14 saves. Canandaigua will play at Brighton on Wednesday and Geneva will play Mynderse on Tuesday.  [BOX SCORE] Game photos are in the gallery.

Pittsford won their 2021 season opener against St. Joseph's from Section VI with a score of 12-11. There was no report from Pittsford.
