Penfield Celebrates NLI Signings

Penfield families and friends celebrated with three players who signed National Letters of Intent this afternoon. Ben Wildman will play at Babson, Travis Wagner will play at Le Moyne and Buddy Pelish is planning of playing at Haverford.

Ben Wildman will start his third year in the Patriot defense and made his commitment over the summer.  The Babson Beavers (Massachusetts) is a Division III team playing under second year Head Coach Rocky Batty. They play a NEWMAC schedule and finished the season at 8-9.

Also from the Patriot defense is Buddy Pelish who is in the admission process and hopes to play at Haverford next year. Buddy will start his third year after picking up 22 ground balls and tying for the lead in take-aways with 6. He was named an honorable mention in defense (MC-d1) last year.

Le Moyne was the choice for Travis Wagner who is a two-year starting goalie for the Patriots. He will start his final season with 312 saves (62%) after posting a 70% season last season. He was named MC-d1 first team goalie and was a Connors and Ferris Player of the week last year.
