2012 All Tournament Teams Selected
The All Tournament Teams for 2012 were announced on Championship Tuesday. MVP for A, B and C were Pat VanBortle (Fairport), Briele Caples (Irondequoit) and Brandon Maciejewski (Penn Yan). Players were selected on the basis of their performances in the Section Five Tournaments.
The Players of the Year were announced at the conclusion of the Class A game. The award for Offensive Player of the Year was given to Gunnar Miller of Irondequoit. The award for Defensive Player of the Year was given to Blaze Riorden of Fairport. The award for Sportsman of the Year was given to Matt Condon of Penfield.
Irondequoit High School received the Sportsmanship Award from the Genesee Valley Lacrosse Officials Association. The award named in honor of long time lacrosse enthusiast and official Steve Morgan.
