Friday: Geneva over Pal-Mac
There were three Finger Lakes games played this afternoon. Mynderse was a 16-9 winner over the Pride, Newark beat Midlakes 7-3 and Geneva was a 6-4 winner over Pal-Mac.

-- Eight different players made the offensive book as Mynderse Academy took a 9-4 lead at the half and then defeated Bloomfield-Honeoye 16-9. Mike Clark (2g-2a), Leroy Halftown (4g-3a) and Aaron Peterman (3g-1a) led the charge for the Blue Devils (1-1). goalie Tim Trickler had a 57% day with 12 saves. The Pride was led by Luke Blain with (4g-1a).

-- Geneva took a 3-1 lead after the first quarter and led at the half 4-1. Both teams produced two goals in the third and Pal-Mac added one unanswered goal in the last quarter as Geneva went on to win 6-4. Matt Miller and Will Brennan both had 2g for Geneva and goalie Derek Grillone had 16 saves (80%) for the Panthers.
Mike DeMar (2g-1a) led the offense for Pal-Mac and goalie Matt Carkner had a 62% day (8 saves).
